About Third-Party Applications

Customers should only install third-party applications from trusted sources, such as BlackBerry App World.  Other third-party applications might cause issues on a BlackBerry smartphone.

Refer the customer to their organization's IT administrator or the vendor of the third-party application for the following cases:

• If the IT administrator at the customer’s organization loads third-party applications or if the IT administrator disables third-party application downloads or their operation on the BlackBerry smartphone using an IT policy.
• If the third-party application is not functioning as designed. Most application vendors provide a Contact Support button at the bottom of the application details screen in BlackBerry App World.
